The rules
01One cocktail, official style
Prepared to official IBA guidelines — built, shaken or stirred exactly as the recipe demands.
02Recipe on file
Ingredients must match the recipe registered with your entry exactly. Substitutions are not permitted.
03Seven minutes, start to garnish
The clock covers all preparation, decoration and presentation to the panel.
04Nothing pre-made
Everything is built live in front of the panel — no pre-batched ingredients, no pre-trimmed garnish.
05Edible garnish only
All decoration must be edible and applied with clean tools.
06Decorum
Professional conduct with judges, organisers and fellow competitors — on and off the stage.
