The rules
01Open to every continent
Entries are welcomed from bartenders nominated by their IBA member association, in and outside Europe. Nomination quotas for non-European associations are confirmed with the official entry kit.
02Five Swiss places
The five best classic competitors of the Swiss Cocktail Championships 2027 take reserved places on the Zürich stage.
03Your own signature serve
One original cocktail, registered with your entry before the competition and mixed to official IBA guidelines.
04Mixed live
Everything is built live in front of the panel — no pre-batched ingredients, no pre-trimmed garnish.
05Friendship first
The Cup is a meeting of associations as much as a contest: decorum, shared stations and guest hospitality are part of the remit of the head judge.
06Team scoring
Whether national teams carry a separate collective score is announced with the official rules in the entry kit.
