The rules
01Alcohol-free by definition
The serve must stay under 0.5% ABV. No spirits, no alcohol-based bitters or flavours — this is a fully alcohol-free stage.
02Your own recipe
The mocktail must be an original creation, registered with your entry before the competition. No borrowed house serves.
03Everything on stage
All preparation happens on stage in front of the panel — no pre-batching, pre-squeezing or pre-garnishing behind the scenes.
04Two identical serves
One for the tasting panel, one for display. They must match perfectly — consistency is scored.
05Clock discipline
Seven minutes from first touch to final garnish. Overtime costs points on a sliding scale.
06Hygiene under review
Clean tools, proper handling and disposable tasting utensils throughout. The bar station is inspected before and after.
