The Widder Hotel’s bar: over 650 whiskies, piano and jazz sets, and the only room on this list open every night of the meeting.
Hotel bars earn their reputation two ways, and the Widder does both: a whisky list running to more than 650 bottles, and live music — piano through the early evening, jazz sets later — that makes the room work without anyone having to try.
It is also the dependable one. It opens at midday and runs past one until Thursday, which makes it the answer for the arrival day and for any night the other rooms have closed.
